As of 6th November, the Animal and Plant Health Agency’s National Bee Unit (NBU) informed us that they have received further credible reports of YLH’s. This means that currently there has been a total of 534 sightings in 2025.
Since the last update, one more nest has been discovered
Broad Oak, East Sussex
This nest has been destroyed and will be removed.
As of 6th November, 158 confirmed nests have been found in 2025.
The NBU continue to respond to credible sightings that are reported.
