To date there have been 207 sightings in 2026 resulting in the identification of 68 nests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The nests confirmed this week are recorded in the following locations:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kent<br>\u2022 Swanscombe (Secondary)<br>Dorset<br>\u2022 Osmington Hill (secondary)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The following nests are awaiting destruction: Capel le Ferne in Kent and Bachelors Bump in East Sussex.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Multiple sightings continue to be monitored by the NBU, local beekeepers and Yellow-legged hornet teams at locations across Cambridgeshire, Dorset, East Sussex, Greater London, Greater Manchester, Kent, and Somerset.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As of 24 September, the Animal and Plant Health Agency\u2019s National Bee Unit (NBU) has informed us that it has received further credible reports of YLH.
